The LINensemble has established itself as one of Denmark’s leading chamber music ensembles since its founding in early 1990. In addition to committing themselves to the performance of their core repertoire, the ensemble is also dedicated to an aggressive method of planning programs in which both new and old music are thoroughly represented.
The LINensemble has performed the world premieres of more than 40 works since 1990. These compositions have been commissioned specifically for the ensemble and are often studied, rehearsed and performed in cooperation with the composers.
The group’s touring schedule has taken them to international festivals in Germany, England, Albania, Japan, Norway, Sweden, Vietnam and Hong Kong in addition to their extensive engagements here in Denmark.
